A phone with no aerial? Yes, this was the shape of things to come. It was heavy too but built in a reassuringly solid way. A weaponry kind of way. It came with Snake, Memory and Rotation and the ability to send little Ceefax-like picture messages with a message (Happy Birthday/Sorry your dog died etc..) This might have been the first phone I used with T9 though I can't remember. Battery life was measured in years. Oh and the ringtone composer! Bloody hell this was amazing! I did Tubular Bells, Oxygene, the theme from Halloween and that string introduction from Destiny's Child's Survivor. Great fun!
I bough a unique version, it had a pseudo colour screen. By this I mean some kind of colour sticker in the screen and white diodes for backlight, (so it was giving impression of colour screen) blue for the pad, also modification in the system, you could protect your massages or contact by setting a password, more features more ringtones etc.
Something strange... You think, that this is the same old good Nokia, but hell no... Settings and controls are fully changed. Bad paint quality. In other words - the phone which changed my attitude to Nokia.
