Apple got better with its iPhone just when the 4th came on the market. All the prequels, as far as I'm concerned, were not as much as flops. I got nothing to compare it with same year's such masterpieces as Nokia N95 8GB.
Yeah, what can I say...a moment of weakness ;) Guess I simply had to try out one of these iPhones. Still have mixed feelings about the 3G. I remember lots of app crashes, overheating, bad battery performance, the first time I actually NEEDED google maps (in Japan)...anyway, sold it again for various reasons and since then it's been Android for me, can't really say that I miss anything.
As with most iPhones pre iPhone 5, the phone was great until they made you update to a newer operating system, then it became slower than a snail and not functional. Apple iPhones were good as they had better apps compared to iPhone (pre 2015) due to the fact that many Android devices had flawed hardwares preventing applications from being installed to SD cards as many Androids came with minute internal storage space, that's all changing now.
